I’m the creature behind @indigenousbookshelf, where I share books by Indigenous authors and host an Indigiqueer bookclub- though here I will expand the stories I share to include more works by disabled and queer POGM (people of the global majority). Because stepping into more worlds brings more opportunities to understand, feel, and show up :) 🐾

I’m a sober, 2S & neurodivergent dreamer- wandering through tangled roots slowly and gently, with trembling hands and a fierce heart. I grow things, craft things, talk to animals, roam the forest, and cry by the water. I could spend days staring into space- reflecting, dreaming, or just being. 🍓

As an autistic with communication challenges, words on a page have always been my means of connection. Our stories are sacred. They carry and protect us. They embrace our grief, joy, and rage- all our wild medicines. They allow us to hold and be held, to witness and be witnessed. They honour our community through space-making and place-keeping. They nurture all our relations, with self and others. Because it is through kinship, we thrive. 🌱
